[Save On Foods] Save-on-foods: Get 5 cadbury chocolate bars for 1.25 $

At save on foods they have an instore coupon for save 5$ when you buy any 5 participating kraft products and dairy milks are on sale right now.
The 100 g chocolate bars are 1.25$ each so 5 for 6.25 - 5 = 1.25$. Have fun getting fat! PS. I cleared out the fruit and nut ones.

Can you please elaborate? Is there something we should know about these bars?

shoppers had a promo where you get $10 worth of optimum points for buying $8 worth of cadbury bars. Of course this was during bonus redemption days so people were carting away hundred's of bars of chocolate and making double what they paid in points.
Some people also looped the deal so basically it was just 1 initial purchase of chocolate and you could endlessly loop it until the stores eventually ran out of stock. (ie, some people made $100's of dollars and got to keep like 300 bars :P)

Basically promo was buy 112 chocolate bars for ~$30 and net gain ~129000 SDM points (value over $200, over $300 during Dec. 1/2 this year) with lesser gain @ lower value (tho doing exact math, the best formula might have being 108 chocolate and use other $4 fillers or ignore the filler completely). Net gain for 108 chocolate was ~121000 points for ~$26 (aka slightly better ratio).

It is an in store coupon so you have to go to customer service to get a coupon. They were hesitant to give me one, I suspect it has something to do with the fact that they or someone is taking a loss on this purchase. Most of the good 100g bars were taken but there were lotsa caramilk bars. Op thanked!

All $6.25 was taxable so total came to $1.56.

Yeah, same thing at the downtown Edmonton Save on location. You have to ask customer service for a coupon.

However, I just want to say a big thank you to the girl that gave me two of her coupons. That was really really nice of you.

I don't get why they're so stingy about the coupon. I went and said I wanted a bunch and the lady said it's one per person.

Bought 5 for $2.00. They taxed me on the full value which was $6.25.
40 cents each is still a good deal.
