Scheduled maintenance cost for 2020 Volvo XC60

I was wondering if anybody here owns a Volvo XC60 and can shed some light on the scheduled maintenance costs. The manual says it requires service every 16k KM (which is ridiculously long), so it's only 3 visits for a 3 year/60k KM lease.

Thanks in advance!

16,000 km service interval is fairly typical (15,000 - 20,000km) for many, if not most Euro brands nowadays.

That seems like a good thing.

What exactly is "ridiculously long" about that? Modern, high-quality engine oils and filters have no problem with that sort of interval.

Probably 1st time leasing an Euro car?
my MB only require an oil change once a year or every 20000km

Some Japanese cars recommend Oil Change every 5000km

I had a 2018 XC60, 2 year lease. First schedule maintenance was free and the 2nd maintenance was around $250 tax in

If you want to do more often, then it’s totally ok too.

Why is that ridiculous, I think the 5k oil change is a north American thing, as an example, 2l ford zetec engine in Canada the service interval is 6000 KM in Europe it is 10,000 MILES.

Im not sure if Volvo make that engine but it will be Euro built and thats the service interval

Nothing stopping you from going in every 3 months to change the oil and pay for a 1000pt inspection... dealership will upgrade you to VIP status.

I would recommend Volvo of Lakeridge at 401 and Salem road.
Great dealership as well as an amazing service department with Bruce, Ivan and the mechanic.
Have owned volvo's since 2004 XC90, S40, XC60 and the newest XC90

No. For VVIP, the GM will send out someone to do an "Espresso and fancy pastry & croissants" run.

I had a 2012 XC60 but had 4 years free maintenance, so no idea what anything cost, I just tossed them the keys, wallet stayed safe.

I recall the old T6 motor taking like 7 litres of oil and the interval being 16000 km IIRC
