Scotia "red" (base) Amex travel card changes to a no-fee 1% earn card

It seems like they offer 8 days of Travel Medical coverage even though it is a no-fee card. Not many no-fee cards give travel medical insurance.

$0 each supplementary card

- Scotiabank Platinum American Express Cardmembers: coverage is provided for the: (1) first 31 consecutive days for those under 65 years of age and, (2) first 10 consecutive days for those 65 years of age or older.
- Scotiabank Gold American Express Cardmembers: coverage is provided for the: (1) first 25 consecutive days for those under 65 years and, (2) first 10 consecutive days for those 65 years of age or older.
- Scotiabank American Express Cardmembers: coverage is provided for the: (1) first 8 consecutive days for those under 65 years of age and, (2) first 3 consecutive days for those 65 years of age or older.
