[Scotiabank $300 bonus] Would Tangerine/Wise pull/push count towards to the PAD and deposit requirements?
Opened the scotia ult account for unrelated reasons, and trying to get the sign up bonus (might as well hehe).
I’m only learning now that my CCs (tangerine and pc) do not have a PAD option to pay the balance. My only bill that does PAD is my internet bill with Bell and I have that setup already. My RBC loc also doesn’t let me PAD from outside RBC -_-
I’m also self-employed; I pay myself via checks/e transfer from my business account.
I use Wise and Tangerine and so I’m wondering if anybody had success with scotia using Wise’s transfer option for PAD and/or deposit. Same with Tangerine’s push/pull through the external account connection. Tangerine being free would be more ideal ofc. Since it uses the bank transit number & accnt number it should work but I wouldn’t be surprised if it didn’t.
The other option I’m thinking is to use the boyfriend’s cc/bills with PAD but I don’t know if it will go through if the bills are in his name and the account is in my name.
