Agree with the above posters - how accessible is this?

I have heard nothing from HSBC despite follow-up calls and emails with a new mortgage needed soon - would love to do better than the current rates.

You guys do know there are other resources for mortgages like Ratespy right? Pretty much any broker can get you 2.74 right now.

My broker signed up me for 3.09 because she said that HSBC etc were not flexible with their terms.. 25% down, good credit :/

You make it sound like bigger bank is a plus. Aren't contract terms more important than whether you're dealing with a million-dollar corporation versus a billion-dollar corporation?
