Scratch co-workers' car help needed

Scratch co-workers' car, some paint loss and indent at quarter panel to the right It is a 2005 infiniti, how much is the possible damage?

Should I do "1000 under go by cash, and 1000 up go by insurance." kind of thing.

Need a better pic. Multiple pics even. Try putting your finger near the scratches to help focus.

just spit balling, $350-$2000. Depends on many factors such as deepness, if it needs a repaint, rental, etc etc....

Tell her to go get a few quotes from body shops then you can decide on what you want to do. No point in going through insurance because in the end it will just effect you both.

Don't go through insurance, just get a few quotes and see how much it'll cost to fix it.

It's not the OP's choice, and it's not up to the other driver to run around getting quotes. There's another on-going thread about this.

The other driver would be doing the OP a favor if they take the cash instead of going through insurance. But they are under no obligation to do so.

maybe you can just do a paintless dent repair and then just paint over the scratch part?
