Screen door

I'm having trouble locating buying screen door for my patio.

I have a simple door (like your entrance one). I want to buy a screen door to put it on the outside so I can leave my patio door open.

Anyone knows how sell these and for (obviously, it's RFD) cheap? Besides keeping bugs away, I also need the door to be the one like in the video below to keep critters away too (mice, etc), if I'm not around.

I don't have a lowes around here, and I'd rather stay away if junk. While I'm not looking at spending too much, I'm good to spend as much as I need to get something that is decent and will last.

The video guy got it from american home depot and also said it's junk. Doesn't seem like home depot in canada sells these though.

Local HomeDepot, Lowes, Rona sell them. Their services can install it, if needed. Junk or not, depends on the model, I had one installed by Rona when just moved to this new built, that was 19 years ago. It's still good, very sturdy, lock still works. I recall I paid $300 for door, $150 to install. I must had pick good one.
I hate to speculate. I hate to forecast. I am just proactive.

Good screen doors start around $500 plus install. What is in this video is literally a screen door... modelled on the old style that banged on the house (we called them bangers). Quite frankly even the ones when we were kids were junk too.

Agree. Cheap one s junk. My in-laws paid for one with installation few years back, it is flimsy. It didn’t work well after 1 year. Compare to mine, it’s night and day, mine is 19 years old.
