20X The Points - Saturday April 18th

A couple of deals worth noting:

(cheapest juice boxes are Allen's for 30 for $5 but these are cheaper if you allow for the 20X points value)

How long does it typically take for the points to show up in your account? I think I read somewhere that it isn't instant.

I was emailed a 20X offer for today(Friday) and it states in red print that the points would be awarded by May 1...so two weeks. This one doesn't mention a delay.

Thinking of getting a PS4 on this deal. Good idea?

I think it's a great idea. To be honest I bought mine at wal-mart for a $75 GC, but at the time I hadn't really considered how many points you'd get for buying it on a 20x points day. Now that I know I wish I'd gotten it at SDM.

Yes .. but better deal if you sign up for emails and get a 20X coupon that works all week, then go in on a Thursday with a senior and use their 20% off WITH the 20X coupon (cashing in $170 worth of points at the same time if you've got 95000 pts)

I'm a newbie with SDM point. Care to point out what you can do with those point you get and how much point you will get by say... getting a PS4 on a 20x point day? Especially why it is better than 75$ GC?

Buy $475 worth of stuff on a 20X day and get 95,000 points that you can cash in for $170 worth of stuff any day of the week.

It gets more complicated if you buy less than $475 worth of stuff or cash points in on special days, but this shows one simple transaction.

best way to get PS4 is to wait for a weekly 20X personalized promo and use it on seniors day ( usually every thursday in some shoppers or last thursday of the month). Yo get 20% off if you take a senior with you (90 dollars off i think )and also get 20X the points of the remaining balance.

In addition to what Treasureseaker said, once in a while Shoppers has bonus redemption days where certain point levels are worth more. Last time they did this 50,000 was worth $100 instead of the usual $85 and 95,000 points was bumped up from $175 to $200. You might have to wait a while for one of these bonus days, however. If you qualify for the seniors discount (or know someone who does ) you could also just go in a Thursday and get the the discount and use your points. Works out even better if you're only spending 50,000 points.

Oh, also just be aware that some Shoppers locations can be flaky with returns on electronic items. When you go to buy one, I'd advise asking the manager if they allow returns/exchanges on consoles.

Not quite. Walmart return and exchange policy is way better than shoppers. And when u redeem your pts u have to pay for tax. If shoppers and walmart sell ps4 same price but walmart offer $75 gc vs shoppers 20x take the $75

You will get it right away for this promotion.

The "general 20x" (ones that you do NOT need a coupon) will give you the points instantly after you check out, while the personalized/targeted 20x coupon kind of promotion won't give you the points right away.

Can't stack points promo's, but can use a discount coupon with a point promo...

It also depends on a cashier. I remember using 8K bonus from personalized offer + 20X points, and guess what, I got both. ))))
