[Shoppers Drug Mart] SDM - Save 20% on purchases over 50$

Got this email just now stating that any purchases over 50$ will get a 20% rebate with this coupon on April 11th ONLY, and only on stock that isn't excluded.

I didn't read the coupon's fine print but it looks like there's a list of stuff that's excluded. For instance, I seriously doubt you could buy a PS4 with it.

Max discount is $50 - so anything over $250 you would not receive any extra discount.

Talks about no facsimiles or copies - strange since you have to print it out.

They write that on all their coupons whether it makes sense or not.

You CAN buy a PS4 with it. And some CSRs wont read the fine print and will give the full 90 dollar discount.

It's better to wait for a 20x day and get 200 bucks worth of points instead though.

If it does, I'd buy them in bulk up to the 50$ savings ceiling that was mentioned earlier.

If anyone still cares about the PS4, there was one in stock at the SDM next to Vancouver General Hospital. Might be a good time to nab one with this promo.

I don't see why you can not get a PS4 with it, the fine print does not mention anything about Electronics being excluded.

anyone know how much a PS4 is at Shoppers? Is it still $399 or did they also raise the price to $449?

nope. "20% off reg price" means very little is even close to a good deal from the various SDM offers

Can you use a coupon and redeem points in the same transaction? Might be time to get an Xbone even if they don't have the Titanfall bundles.

$449, plus seems like no more Knack bundles, at least here in Wpg. Might pull the trigger on this, redeem my 95K points for $170 off, plus coupon, plus have $120 in Sony points on my Sony MC...

Yes you can. Last time I bought a small tv with this coupon and then redeemed points afterwards.

Cool. They don't seem to have the Titanfall bundle, but 280 for an Xbone seems to be the right price.

I think point redemption is after taxes only so it'd be 449 plus taxes minus 170

It would still be better to use the coupon than to wait for the redemption day though, I assume?
