I have a similar older ninja one from CT and even on air fry mode food is never crispy like it is in a regular air fryer I love mine, but I don't have an air fryer for comparison. We use it all the time.It replaced my rice cooker, slow cooker, and pressure cooker; and gave me an air fryer.
