Thanks OP - is Sears.ca equipment solid? I keep seeing huge reductions which leads me to suspect they start with an unrealistic mark up and bring it back down to normal retail..

well, when I did a search for that bike OP posted, google shows sears.ca price of $454.99. Click on the sears link and it goes to 699 regular price...

Sears always does this. Jack up the price then claim it's 50-70% off and it becomes the regular price. I guess people fall for it.

Been on the phone for almost 2 hrs to try to get a price adjustment for item bought just before this sale and keep on saying they can't do it.

So much for a price protection policy... doesn't work.

Buy another at today's price then return it with the receipt from your first purchase (as long as you are within the return period for you original purchase)
