How do boxsprings come in firm or plush? Why would they list the coil count, mattress height and other details?
Maybe you missed this but when you place an order for this set, on the confirmation page, at the very bottom it says: 2 items. You only get 1 Foundation box for a Queen mattress, so by logic the other item has to be the mattress. (Only a King size mattress comes with two foundation box springs).

Even on the description page it says "Includes mattress and foundation with mis-matched fabric patterns. sorry, no choice of pattern 13 1/2'' mattress height continuous coil innerspring technology with 14.5 gauge coils 6 gauge mattress border wire and foam-encased edge guards"

So when a consumer orders the item on this page, the consumer is paying for both the mattress AND the foundation. It even says "2 items" on their confirmation page when you finish placing the order. Hopefully Sears honors this.

Thanks OP. Ordered the SEARS-O-PEDIC ®/MD 'Genevieve'Mix and Match Independent Coil Series Tight Top Firm Support Sleep Set - Queen/King - Queen size $300 less $50 coupon but delivery is $69.95 (ouch). I talked to the CSR and she said this is a two-piece set, mattress and foundation are separately. Think this is better of for us since se have the bed-skirt. The other sleep set are one-piece and they are approx. 13" thick, might have problem to fit the queen fit sheet. Just a thought.

The king size for this is $2799??

Precisely. The item listed and added to my order was a sleep set. Not a boxspring only, not a foundation only. Folks on the phone can say what they like, but they advertised a set and that's what I purchased.
Wishing everyone a lucky 2020!

Sears should almost be removed from RFD all together. They are brutal to order from.

Like I said earlier. GOOD LUCK

Had a hard time choosing a firm Queen mattress with pocket coils. I honestly have no idea what makes one better over the other.

Ended up buying this one: http://www.sears.ca/product/simmons-bac ... 7068-57068
200$ pocket coil, with a boxspring. 14 inch deep mattress. Arbitrarily chose because it wasn't a Sears brand, no clue if that's a legitimate factor.

300$ pocket coil, with mismatched boxspring. 10 inch deep. No clue how the foam stuff compares across these first two choices. I just didn't like that it was Sears brand?

Firm 250$. I don't like pillow top normally, but since the firm option existed, I was intrigued by it. Problem is you don't know what kind of coils it has since there is no detailed description. Seemed risky based on that.

The item I ordered included a mattress according to the description, so either they honour that or they refund everything with no problem.

Are they as good as Sealy/Simmons/Kingsdown?
You can tell who manufactures a sears bed by looking at the model number. SY - Sealy, SS - Simmons, SL - Springwall. Not sure if there are other codes. Those are the only ones I know.

You seem pretty confident it is only a Foundation. You work for sears?
