Update - Dec 28

The $550 was a sale price. As of this morning, price is up 100 bucks to $649. Coupon still seems to work, so $615 now.
Congrats to all those that got it for $515 - nice deal.

Update - Dec 27, 2pm
Model:
I believe some posters have mentioned that the model is PN42B400.
This is the lowest model plasma Samsung makes. There was some concern over the resolution but this has been clarified in posts #97,99 + 101 (thanks to members joeags, ck1223 and my2sense). I've had the lowest level 720p LG plasma for a year now and have been really happy with it.

Coupon:
If you add the coupon in the first cart screen, you will not see the discount immediately applied. It should be applied when you get to the final screen where they ask for your credit card info. This coupon is not supposed to be valid with electronics, but it seems to be working on all TVs. Merry x-mas.

Enviro Fee:
The enviro fee is embedded in the PST. It differs for each province. For us Dalton McGuinty fans it's just over $10 for this size of TV. There's a link in the tv's product page that explains it in more detail.

As of 2pm on Dec 27, I cannot believe it's still showing as "in stock". People have been receiving confirmation emails for their orders, so this is a good sign. This is a fantastic deal that is extremely difficult to pass up. My wife would kill me if I bought this, although it would be perfect as a basement/bedroom TV for use with the Wii we got for the kids. Actually, this makes a decent main TV for those that want a basic flat panel. When you compare this to the recent $400 32" LCD deals that are out there, this wins hands down IMO.

All I am seeing regarding the coupon is:

$35 OFF, SEARS ADVANTAGE -- but my total stays the same price (549). Is anyone else having this issue?

Is that $549 model the same one as the PN42B400P3 that was on sale for $599 at London Drugs 2 weeks before Christmas?

http://www.redflagdeals.com/forums/lond ... cd-826529/

If so maybe I will try price matching....Best Buy had the same $549 Boxing Day price but there was only 20 per store and I assume they are sold out

Coupon works once you get into checkout.

Although the total isn't accurate, taxes aren't calculated properly, anyone else have this problem?
Subtotal: $514.99
Handling: $3.00
GST $26.40
PST $52.31
Total: (CDN) $596.70

This TV seems to have the same specs. as the one Bestbuy has on sale (sold out) for $549, not 100% cause no model #. Possibly PN42B400

Yes it has anti burn in .. but still you can't be stupid with it. I bought this exact TV 12 days ago @ London Drugs for $599 and have been very happy with it! It doesn't have many inputs, but great bang for the buck & I prefer plasma over LCD for what I use it for (sports & gaming)

Darn! Itried to hold out buying a new TV but at under $600 all in I countn't resist. I'm having the exact same problem with the taxes being miscalulated (I'm in Ontario). Has anyone tried calling in to correct the taxes? I'd try myself but I'm afraid they'll notice the coupon which I'm not sure is valid for this purchase and take it off.

Yeah the taxes aren't mis-calculated exactly, they just have the enviro fee shoved under PST. The enviro fee is $30

Is that even legal for them to do?
They're reporting enviro fee to the government as PST?
