Sears must have a click counter or something, don't see any reason for it going up (unless RFD bought it).
I was in the market for a washer / dryer combo and the site shows very little in this category, so I thought I'd add what I found.
This is a front-loading washer / dryer that's a tad smaller than a "standard" size you see today. There were height issues at this was one of the few companies offering a shorter, stackable unit (72 inches vs 77/78 inches from other companies).
The pull here is the price. Online it shows $1,357.82 (was $1315.82 last week) which is a good $200 less than comparable models. For some reason, these are listed (and not advertised) on the website. I went in-store, this knowledge in hand to ask about the expensive floor models. Then I asked about online pricing and the units on the floor matched the pricing online. This price for the pair works out to be $678.91 per unit.
This is easily a savings of $200+ even within the Frigidaire line (or other companies) without negotiation on the price. This is a surprise, when the units in-store claim to already be "On Sale" This online price undercuts that.
When LG, Samsung and Maytag wouldn't fit (5 Cu. Ft or 4.8 Cu. Ft), this 4.5 Cu. Ft unit with a reduced height fit the bill.
Leaves room for an extended warranty & installation IMO.
Pro Tip: Walk into a Sears, ask about the online pricing, the units in-store should match the website for this exact same price.
If you prefer in-person shopping, over online.
