Seems like a good deal tho they do go on sale for sub $200. Last year i remember getting lagostina 5 ply hotel series for $200 during boxing week.

you can always find tri ply for under 200, cuisinart just had one last week for 179, and costco always have the kirkland 3 ply for around 200

Any thoughts on this? I'm mulling the replacement of some aging pots and pans and I'd like to get away from non-stick.

I've been using it for almost a year, and it has stood up to daily use and the dishwasher fine. I like it and the pot sizes work very well for me, but they are a bit non-standard compared to other pots and pans sets I looked at and the paderno set I had before this (had to replace it when I got an induction stove top. Most of them are on the larger side, which is fine for me because I cook for at least 5 people every day.

So, I went for the Sears pot set. The handle feels pretty nice, the pots and pans have a good heft, and the construction looks solid. For the price, I'm very happy and the set nicely replaces the older stuff we needed to turf. Sears North Vancouver had two or three boxes left as of Monday afternoon.

For the person who has had them a year, does the food stick or is it easy to clean?

this will not have a warranty considering all sears stores will be closed before the spring, and kenmore is a sears brand.

EDIT oops thought this was for a cooktop. cookware who cares about a warranty haha

These are down to $79.98, or $99.98 for the 5-ply version. Stratford store has about 50 of the 5-ply, 20 of the 3-ply.
