Just noticed this price drop on stocktrack.
This is $10 more than Boxing week sale where it sold out pretty fast.
Shows >5k units available, but I doubt it's accurate.

Also as of Feb 1st, there is no more eco fees in ontario, correct? One less tax now.

Hasn't this been lower with points or on no tax days at rcss? Some reviewer is saying they're using as a monitor, but pixels should be too big on a desk setup and it only supports 4:2:2 chroma subsampling?

There was a comment in the older thread where one poster said the TV is not HDCP 2.2 compatible. Can anyone back that up? ~13 page thread and most people seemed content (with 1080p?). I'm out of touch with TVs... what's the point of 4K then?

I bought this TV for my daughter at Christmas. It has some backlight bleeding but isn't noticeable when watching a movie or TV show. The daughter is happy with it and I was happy with the price.

Bud, I wouldn't recommend it.

I used a 42" 1080p back in 2015 as a monitor, I'm pretty sure it did some minor damage to my right eye. This monitor is in the same price range. Spare your orbs.

I'm half-joking about the eye damage, but your wetware is worth more than cheap hardware.

Not great, I'm surprised this is a serious question.

This thing is either 4:2:2 or 4:2:0. It's a casual TV and console gaming platform at best.
