Selling car privately

So it's been a while since I've tried to sell a car privately. What is the current practice of where to meet up? Do you get prospective buyers to come to your house, or meet at gas station, or some other public place? Also, do you go along for the test drive, or take pictures of their license/insurance, maybe leave their keys behind, and let them go?

Meet in a public place rather than your home. A shopping plaza or grocery store nearby or gas station is fine. Always go with them for the test drive, never leave them alone. You can't trust strangers.

Thanks for the link!

Wound up meeting with a potential buyer at gas station nearby, and if he decides he wants it today, we will meet at MTO to complete.
