Share "part" of your screen from Ultrawide for MS Teams?

I have 2 Dell 27'' ultrasharps on the way, but shipping is delayed to use for work.

I was debating going with a 49inch ultrawide instead, but one thing that i recall hearing was that if you were to go and share your screen in say MS Teams, it will share your entire monitor, and that it will be very difficult for your collegaues to see, especially given that most will be using a regular monitor.

I know the ultrasharps let you split up monitors in multiple layouts.....but does anyone know if you can share "just one part of the monitor"?

You can opt to share a window. Just make sure that window isn't maximized.

I run my teams in one section of my screen, and my brower etc in other sections. On such a monitor you don't tend to run things full screen. So just make sure you share a window or tab instead of the entire screen and others will be able to see it fit in as long as that window is formatted to an aspect ratio more suited to regular monitors.
