I'm not familiar with GoodSync, but FreeFileSync is free/opensource and has a lot of options for how to sync. I use it to backup my stuff to an external drive and I like the versioning feature that moves an older file (about to be replaced) to a specified "deleted" folder. It also ensures that no file is permanently gone until you go through and manually delete the file. It can generate batch files that you can run with something like System Scheduler to do a daily/weekly backup. Between the 2, lots of control.

A sketchy looking website though I got the app key, I didn't download the app from its site, but from Goodsync directly (https://www.goodsync.com/download)

Also further investigation, it seems legit with previous Goodsync 10 thread

Good software. Sucks it's only a one year license.
The old promo was just free (but you're stuck on version 10).

I agree. It was a good software before they switch to subscription base. I continue using their version 10. There are other app like https://freefilesync.org/, so it has what I needed on my server.
