[Shaw] $60 per month 300MBPS with $250 credits (2 year term) IS BACK!

Edit:

I called Shaw English department today and they said no such offer. Only 1 year promo pricing and after 1 year, it will be regular price.
I called Shaw Mandarin/Cantonese customer service and they offered me 2 years promo pricing + $250 credits (without TV and Phone services)

I contacted live chat and they only offered me 1-year promo pricing. After I told them the rep at Metrotown mall offered me the 2 year pricing $60 with $250, they were able to do it.

Went to a Shaw kiosk and they are offering
2-year term for $60/month with $250 credits.

In order to get $250, you need to sign up for the phone service and lite TV.

Phone service = $15
TV = $25

First month = $100
2nd month = $60 (after cancelling home phone and tv)

Check your Local Shaw store and ask if they still have something like this.

I checked online using incognito and they only have 12 months promo pricing.

This was at Metrotown。

What does being Chinese have to do with the deal?

Pretty sure you won’t get the credits if you cancel home phone + tv after a month. Also OP not sure I understand your comment about her being Chinese - does this add to the hotness of the deal? Can you elaborate.

Correct. You will get the $250 on your first bill so it doesn’t matter if you cancel the other 2 services after 30 days.

Went to Richmond centre Shaw. And they said no such offer. It was expired on Jan 7th. The best they can do was 1 year promo pricing ($60/m) then it will be regular price.

Spoke with a non Chinese rep. @.@

Do you need to be Cantonese to get the offer? Or does the rep have to be Cantonese, or do we both? Will I have to pay more if I’m from Japan or Mainland China?

What even is this thread.

They were offering this deal a few times in the last couple months except without the extra TV/phone service requirement bs.

I understand why he mention the ethnicity of the sales rep. Sometimes being a certain ethnicity for some reason gets better offers. Same complaints happen with Rogers and Fido too, or any company that has a Chinese only phone line.

When I was a Rogers rep way back in the day, we sometimes had better offers than other stores and even retention. Chinese reps are notoriously for requesting backend/back pocket offers for their clients.

I find this to be very prevalent in GVA, not sure about other places.

Something like this was available on Cyber Monday, but no requirement for phone or TV. 2-year term, $250 credit, $60/month. Just an FYI. There are also Shaw reps here who have access to better deals from time to time... check out some of the older Shaw threads. Good luck!
