3gb plan for $15 with talk/text for existing Shaw internet subscribers

Retailer:
Shaw Mobile
Back in April, I did not take advantage of the promo text link from shaw for $12 2gb plan.
I contacted shaw Chat a few times since April, they said the promo (3gb $15) expired.
I was at Shaw retail at Guildford last week. I inquired about (3gb $15), to my surprise, They said
they always had this promo and it never ended. so we subbed. thanks for nothing shaw chat.

we purchase 1gb roll over data often. Shaw mobile has been working great. Family been using as main line since July-Aug 2020 launch. pretty reliable for us as we took a chance and I ported them away from Rogers and Fido.

I still have my main Rogers line and i also use a 2nd shaw line with no data plan. I am still taking advantage of the free limited data access i have on the $0 plan! what a deal for $0.

Revised: Walmart is waiving the $35 activation fee on the
monthly plans. so you can cancel it after a month and stay on the $0 plan after that.

It’s worth noting that the $15/3GB deal applies to any Shaw Internet subscriber at any home “Fibre” tier, not just the Gigabit (1000mbps) tier.

The Gb home Internet subscribers get that sweet 25GB mobile data for $25 (plus the usual unlimited calling/texting across Canada) deal the rest of us would have to pay $45 a month for, but it’s still the best deal in the country if you are already a Shaw customer for home Internet.

we are on the 300 internet plan, which i guess is "Fibre+ 300". Shaw is just branding their products.

Thanks OP.
Measuring unit gigabyte is abbreviated as GB. In contrast, throughput measurement gigabit or megabit is Gb/Mb.
In mobile and home internet plans, the monthly limit will be upper case Bytes. The per second throughput will be lower case bits.

Walmarts mobility kiosk is waiving the $35 activation fee for the $15. 3gb a month plan.
It's a back to school promotion that started.
you can cancel the plan anytime. if you want the $0 a month plan. you have to play the $35 activation fee

Got this a few months back and ended up cancelling it. I was only able to get 4-6 mbps download speeds. On Fido I easily get 75 mbps.
