Update on April 3:
It seems Shaw is still offering 3GB/month $15 plan includes talk/text. It is a good deal for people don't need a lot of mobile data. You might get it for $10 if you are lucky. Some people have reported $10 3GB is ended on April 1. Congrats to people who got the $10 3GB deal.

A friend who was looking for setup a $0 talk/text plan. However, he was offered 3GB/month for $10 new promo plan. Talk & Text included. It is not advertised.
It seems currently this offer at specific store only.
$30 one time new activation fee still apply.
Promo expiry date: unknown

Yes, including talk and text, but no. It is not prepaid. It is Postpaid plan.

I used the chat feature for shaw mobile to ask to be put on the 3gb $10 plan. They said it was only offered by specific stores, and that shaw could not add it on my account.

I wonder if we can find a phone number for the Shaw Mobile location at Market Mall and have them add the plan?

Yes. I also have the same plan. I was told I can switch too.

I asked, I was told that they didn't have that information. More likely they were not able to provide that info.

I tried looking up the phone number for that location, but nothing is listed.

I did not ask because I did not switch myself over. I still have FIDO 4GB tablet plan $0 for 24 months in a Dual Sim phone paired with Shaw $0 talk & text.

I believe you have to go to the store for the SIM card and sign agreements.

Who wants a crack at the phone deal? You can try "google search" and I got this number for the Mall. Ask to be transferred to Shaw.

I live in Calgary will have to check it out.

Edit: just talking to an agent on line, they are able to do it thru chat.

Edit #2: agent says it is $15 for 3 gbs not $10 for 3gbs
