[Shell] YMMV: Save 3c/L with Air Miles + 10% cash back when using registered MC

Savings:: 12.5%
Retailer:: Shell

Saw a sign at the Shell in Pickering (Bailey and Liverpool), when you use your Air Miles Card you instantly save 3c/L on all grades of gas. Plus if you’ve registered your MC with shell you’ll get the 10% cash back (as previously posted).

Speaking to the rep at the counter he said the deal is only at select Shell stations and that he only knew of those in the Scarborough and Pickering area which are participating.

By roughly calculation, using today’s cost per L on regular. 1L @ 115.9 = 14.3c off (3c from AMs + 11.3c from MC).

Tried their 10% rebate promo on Oct 7. Transaction posted on Oct 8. Still no rebate

I'd say it's as good a case as any to substantiate our claims now for getting our rebates back, since some locations are still advertising the rebate. Also goes to show just how premature corporate was to pull the program.

The best deals are the ones that make you buy, even if you have no plans to ever use it.

That's is why we so upset because they said it run till Dec 30, but end it on Oct 8 without communication
