You can currently get a Premium membership to Shodan for lifetime for $1. Apparently offer expires at midnight UTC today. This is a tool for searching for internet connected devices and vulnerabilities.

Process a little odd, but this is what worked for me visit:
https://account.shodan.io/login
Click 'register' red button
Enter username, password, email (this create a free account)
go to your email, and click the verify link
Login (note that username is case sensitive) - this takes you to your account overview
now, go to https://shodan.io/store/member
At the top there is a big "Gain Full Access for $1" banner with a paypal or buy now button ($49 normal price)

Was going to share this, but wasn't sure if this was allowed too. Few of my coworkers and I grabbed this deal. Why not allowed, well it can be used for bad too lol. Threat actors love to use this to scan for vulnerable devices lol.

It’s just a scanner that exposes publicly discoverable data. Should totally be allowed.

Basically scans ip and ports all over world which are vulnerable. For example somebody bought cheap ip camera and hook it up to their network, you can somehow get access to it. There is a russian website which exposes all these cameras you can watch all of them live. Just google it

For those who bought but don’t know what to do, go to shodan monitor and add your public IP address. It’ll show you vulnerability in your home network.

Can't add "private" IPs for monitoring?

Signed up - note that with the $1 account, you can only monitor 16 IP's, it's not lifetime access to the highest level plan (understandable for $1!)
