What's the difference between the Wolverine 1K's in brown, rust, and cordovan no.8? It's hard to tell just from looking at pictures online because lighting and what's been applied to the leather can really change the color.

Kinda like how unbranded/Naked & Famous is a good cheap entry point for raw denim quality, i'm looking for a good entry point to quality shoes; if this makes sense.

So...
What brand has the lowest price for good quality?
Where do you recommend me to go to buy shoes? (store & online = 2 different places)

Any help is appreciated
Take a look at Allen Edmonds seconds www.shoebank.com and meermin http://www.meermin.es/catalogo.php

I would say Wolverine's site have very good reproduction/representation of the different colours: http://www.wolverine.com/US/en-US/Produ ... mensions=0

Ty Bellyhungry for the links, nice looking shoes there

But, I was looking for Canadian stores within the GTA or a website that ships to Canada. (I'd like to avoid duties n such from USA/UK sites)

Any tips is appreciated. Best/Only place I know is The Bay, lol..

Thanks. Here's a pic of the cordovan 8, rust, and brown side by side right out of the box in case anyone else is interested:

Where's the best place online or in downtown Toronto if anywhere here carries them to pick up a pair?

Navy grain Conistons is worth it but it'd be a fairly casual boot due to the color and grain. Pretty hard to tell it's navy from the photo but they might look different in person. The last on those chukkas are a bit too aggressive for my taste.

I finally bought a brown dress shoes and can't believe what I've been missing.

What products does everyone use to keep them clean. Since I cannot polish them?

Why can't you polish them?

Use a horsehair brush to clean your shoes and do it after every wear.
