Always thought their move to the Avenue location was a bad idea, a bit out of the way. Nice boots but overpriced imo. I’d rather get wolverine 1ks for like $200 plus less.
Or even Allan edmonds boots with the current sale.

GTA Shoe Shine did these 2 pairs for me. The black pair had a major scratch that he was able to fix along with 2 minor scratches. They look brand new again.

Excellent repair indeed on the scratch.
It's good to see the standards different cobblers have. If you follow the Pro guys on istagram, you'll see them. Unless you went offroading after they were returned, it's funny, he didn't bother (unless it was a separate fee you cheaped out on?) sanding & repolishing & painting the brim/sole. The mirror shine is pretty good. But once you've seen the stuff from @vrublevskiy_alexey & @shoespatina (my latest follow), Nothing compares.
& btw I feel your pain, Deskwork is not made for dressy shoes....Sharp edges, chair casters....they're all butchery hazards for polished leather

Anyone have any recommendations on a decent pair of unlined chukka boots for <$500? I still have a pair of the Aldens in tan (got it at $300 USD a couple of years back) but the suede is quite well worn.

Most of the scratches are from airplane seats.
