Not surprised. They shipped me stuff without billing me and they could not resolve that on their end - ended up not paying anything. I tried.

Yeah they used to have all these crazy sales like save $50 on $100 purchase etc. Not surprised.

I just made an order last week, and I was wondering why they are not on eBates anymore...

it was obvious it wasn't sustainable. Tons of advertising, continuous stream of bonuses, sign-up coupons, 20% ebates and often able to stack discounts.

Good.

These guys *****ed me on legitimate promos and charged my credit card higher after I checked out with discounts. Never used them again.

not surprised. prices were terrible. literally nothing on that site you couldn't get for cheaper elsewhere.

I was able to get a hairdryer for $0.84 during a TD Aeroplan Visa $50 credit promo. I haven't revisited/shopped again at the website, as I noticed most items were overpriced. Even the hairdryer was $10+ more than other shops/website at the time.

Not a very good business model at all. I think I bought once the 50 dollars off on 100 and it was a gc.

i was able to learn guitar solely because of that site. got a very cheap squier and a noname acoustic from them. not to mention a $20 2DS.

2012/2013 was the last time i remember a lot of exploitable promos every month (make infinite accounts for stackable $5 credits)... online retailers have smartened up a lot since then.

Another boywonder who thought he would "revolutionize" the way Canadians shop.

I only bought twice from them and ONLY because it was heavily discounted AND there was a 20% Ebates return.

Otherwise nothing could be bought from those outrageously inflated prices.

Good riddance!

So "Jo Tax Payer" is the real sucker in this matter.

Interesting way of promoting a sale.

After Beyond the Rack earlier this year, another one bites the dust.

I'm surprised they lasted this long.
