20x the points when buying a PS4 Pro ($179 value)

I work there, and you might've been able to get away with this before everything turned digital. Now, however, when they scan the receipt to return the first machine it will try to deduct points and you won't have enough points to deduct so they won't complete the return.

The optimum program is one of the most generous programs in Canada,please don't ruin it for others.

Does 20 x point end at midnight exactly ? Or are the lenient and the system doesn't turn over tI'll like 3am?

Its not but huge YMMV and it is abusing the policy that likely will result in the policy being worst in the future. Ie Costco electronics return policy being changed to 90 days after customers were returning and rebuying computers every year.

Also returning high price item generally is a quick way to get your account flagged. Not exactly ideal since you supposely gave SDM your personal info when you signed up for membership.

Actually he would scam a small amount of points. The regular price purchase would result in basically 99800 points. The discounted $170 results in 34000 less points or 65800 points or for a new membership means a negative balance which will likely be flagged in the system. Of course it wouldnt be a negative balance if he already had 34k plus pts in his card so its not really a scam but could be depending on the situation and rather or not he planned in maintaining a negative balance.

Pro vs regular.... not really comparable and th uncharted bundle has been on sale for less tho i think costco might have an extra controller or something.

I was lucky a couple years ago, i bought an Xbox One and got a bunch of bonus points. After legitimately returning it, turns out they didn't deduct the points. Guess they fixed that "glitch" now. At the time i didn't post it to RFD cause i knew it would be abused by many on here.

A true scammer would do the following;

Buy two PS4 pros at SDM ($1,000) - ($358) = $642

Arrive at a Walmart and claim you lost the receipt for the PS4, still BNIB and with great conversation skills you will get at best a store credit ($500)

Now sell the gift card on Kijiji for 10% off face value ($450). You're left with a PS4 PRO for $192+tax.

This avoids any dilemma with ruining Shoppers return policy, Walmart's policy has already been abused to no return.

Like I always say when people mention selling on Kijiji, maybe in the fantasy world that is the GTA .

Take it a step further and open up the Pro that you intend to return to Walmart, and sketch over a phone book so it looks like a PS4 and then factory seal it again.
