[Shoppers Drug Mart] 2x Switch Pro Controllers

I ordered 2 Switch Pro controllers at $89.99 each. These don't get discounted ever. Edit: these are discounted *rarely*

SDM had $50 off $150 last weekend and it's back until tomorrow. Free shipping over $49.

Final total is $179.98 + $23.40 (13%) HST = $203.38 - 52685 points = $150.70 for 2 = $75.35 per controller / 1.13 = $66.68 pre-tax price per controller

Fed up with joycon issues that are even pricier ($99.99), decent discount for the Switch Pro controllers. Some used ones can be found cheaper on Kijiji if you just want one, but for brand new it's a hot deal IMO.

Is the $50 off something in the flyer, or is this an Optimum points offer?
Nobody cares which exploitative corporations you give your money to every month. Capitalism is a plague on this planet. Get that crap out of your signature.

This is pretty much exactly the same as the weekly 20x points offer isn't it?

30% back = 53,994 points

But with 20x points offer, you could just buy one.

yes, the main difference is you are guaranteed stock (while they have it) online, no hunting involved and it ships to your door

Just have to wait for 20X online then. It's pretty common these days, there was one like few weeks ago

Already got enough controllers so bought a few single player switch games instead.

I'm buying single player games because it's COVID and I should social distance, and totally not because I have no friends.

Free shipping in like, they ship directly to the post office which is at shoppers anyway, or shipping like ship at home?

Yes but he said they don't get discounted ever which they have. Even PSP at the Source has them discounted currently

Not too sure how will they ship joy cons, but for the consoles, they have been choosing the pick up at post office option... Which is quite annoying since I am home everyday, that requires me to go to post office to pickup...

Ship at home
They used either Canada Post or UPS in my case.

Regarding the joycon issues.. if it’s the drifting analogue stick Nintendo fixes those for free and pays the expedited shipping both ways. Even if your switch is out of warranty.

I was very impressed by the turn around time.

Well, Shoppers decided otherwise for my recent orders and have been choosing the pick up option every time, which is quite counterintuitive actually. That's why I was asking if OP got his controllers shipped to his home.
