This is on sale again. It seems like every second week this is on sale. I tried this coffee once, and it was terrible. I'll never buy these again.

The Eight O'clock coffee comes on sale once a while for the same price, it's much better.

I bought some based on reviews in the last thread. Got the medium roast - better than MH and Folgers but not by much IMO. Did I mess up by not getting ‘the great canadian’ variety or the dark roast?

Dark roast is good IMO. Great Canadian is ok. Both well above MWH and Folgers I'd say.

Also note SDM is on a Sat-Fri sale cycle while PCO (and the supermarkets) are Thu-Wed, in ON and QC at least. So you get 2 chances of an offer on coffee during SDM's sale week, on Sat-Wed it's one set and Thu-Fri the "new" PCO offers kick in.

I buy the medium roast and like it quite a bit. I’ll never understand people that wait in line for 10 minutes for a Tim Hortons coffee...

I like the dark roast and usually buy about four cans when it's on sale for this price and combine it with a 20x points offer when you spend $50 or so.

From a Starbucks fan (not me): the PC West Coast Dark Roast (black can). Even without bonuses, $7 for this big can is good.

A week ago the 30-count was on sale at loblaws for $8.99 and price match available at both RCSS and Loblaws.

Other option is stacking offers at Shoppers. Month ago PC k cup was on sale at Shoppers, $5.99 12 count, on 20x point day and I stacked 1200 pts per $6 of PC single serve pods, and 1200 pts per $6 of PC ground coffee. Total came to $2.57 per box of 12 including tax.

Used to buy Starbucks dark roast at Costco for $23 per 2 1/2 pound bags. Tried the PC West Coast Dark and haven’t looked back. Gonna roll all that money I saved into lottery tickets. Grinning Face With Smiling Eyes
