$429.99 + tax = $485.89 - 320k points redeemed ($420 value) = $65.89

One xmas present crossed off the list.

2020 = using points for boring stuff for me so far even on non redemption days and expecting this to continue. : S Also during this COVID 19 I don't know how anyone could stand for many reasons to get a big haul of stuff to earn points. Idea for me has been to get the hell out of places quick as shoppers are just ignorant now and also hate holding people up. Anyway ...

I was going to do that (320k points) but held off to ensure I still have 200K for a future redemption event. All it did was give the $100 bump, right?

Yep and the remainder was at normal point level. (had lots to use up anyways instead of paying more cash)

The test version of the PS5 pre-order page for Shoppers leaked yesterday (shoppers-drug-mart-playstation-5-bluray ... r-2403584/) - they don't take any payment at pre-order time, just your name and contact info. So assuming they handle the XBox the same way, it seems like it's a no. You'll have to hope that there's a bonus redemption event when you pick up your pre-order and pay for it.

the limit is 1 per transaction. you can bonus redeem twice in a day (unless they did away with the restriction)
so you can bonus redeem as many as you want (within their limit) until the event is over

That's regular price on it right? Wonder if it might have been better to wait and see if the 250k for $400 off happens again.

That link goes to a page that says "Up to" for the specs.
That doesn't mean much about the actual laptop model that Shoppers offer...

What matters are the letters and number AFTER "M509DA" as in:

Asus M509DA-SS51-CB (S = Staples)
Asus M509DA-TB71-CB (T = The source)
Asus M509DA-WB31-CB (W = Walmart)

Any decent Shopper's in Calgary that has actual stuff?
