I am close to Yonge / Eglinton. There are 2 Shpppers Drug Mart in this area. BUT both of them do not have electronics. Does anyone know where is the closest store carry electronics? I want to get a Nintendo Switch.

Call them or go in person and ask them to check for stock in neighboring stores.
The are able to do that (if they want).

Because any SDM employee told you to buy separately (unclear whether 20x would apply to both was queried to them) is hardly worthy of a PSA.

However, the good news is by posting this, I can offer an easy fix. When you next get a 20x offer, go to that Shoppers, with the games and receipts. Explain your story (you may even be smart to go when that employee is there) get them to return the games, and rebuy (btw, here you must do it as separate transactions).
1) As mentioned with an example, she thought you can't get points in the same purchase as a redemption, even when the component paid in cash exceeded the minimum spend required to get points

2) I did not buy the games

3) The games are final sale, not sure how you'd get a refund on this.

4) Not sure why you are policing what qualifies as a PSA in a thread with over 20 pages of posts that aren't all high value in the first place.

Has anyone tried this to confirm or done a transaction like this? If I have 420,000 points, can I redeem twice in one transaction like 200,000 points for the $300 then another 200,000 for $200 ??

I was able to find Acer, Aspire 3 notebook. Redeem 200 to get extra 100 was surprised the 20% stacked on remaining amount paid which resulted in 59700 points earned.

Would help if you tell which branch. Great find though.

Sorry about that, was evergreen in Surrey they had two at that location would recommend to call to confirm if they still have one on hand.

Because you're not sticking them with the games, as you are immediately rebuying.

Yes you can do this. However a better strategy would be two separate transactions for 200k redemption at $300 each. Unless you're buying one large cost item in a single purchase where your max value of your points would be $520 for 420k points

Does anyone know if SDM carries Apple Airpods Pros? I know they have Airpods V2. Btw south Commons had a couple Nintendo switches on Friday, bought one for my wife and they asked if I want gray or color.

actually that looks really familiar....im pretty sure its the same one i saw.

Hows the Youtube/netflix apps are they quick and easy to use?
I don't use Netflix (that's how light users we are. Happy with prime) but I used YouTube a few times and although I'm sure it could be a tiny bit smoother, it's definitely well usable.

That's the point I'm not sure everyone gets and I apologize if this annoys some people; I find it hard to make it obvious:

Some people make it sounds like "I only paid $200 for that TV."

That's not the case: you paid $275 (a) out of pocket + $200 (b) worth of TP, eggs, soap, coffee, etc.

You actually paid +/- $475 (c) for the TV whether you realize it or not.

Make no mistake, Galen is not a billionaire for nothing: he knows you are paying $475 for the damn TV anyway you slice it. Lol!

Edits:
a. It's actually $275 out of pocket: $200 + (15% taxes in Québec on the full price of $500).
b. 200,000 points redeemed could have been exchanged for at least $260 worth of things that are on special at Shoppers like TP, eggs, soap, coffee, milk, frozen veggies, etc. but you get back 60,000 points (on the $200 cash out of pocket [not the taxes] for a net forfeit in value of at least $200.
c. $275 + $200 = $475
I think you're over thinking this. The closest grocery store to my house is RCSS. I'd shop there even if they didn't have PC points. I can effectively count those as cash as they will and do get spent down quickly. We all have to eat so no big deal for me to have points so easily redeemable. And now we can even redeem at the Real Canadian liquor stores.
