[Shoppers Drug Mart] Buy $250 Canadian Tire gc, get bonus $25 gc, (limit $500) FEB 16 - 22

This is from the SDM ONTARIO flyer, Feb 16 - 22, 2019. (I think it's national, though). Bottom of page 4. (ON has some insert pages before, so the page numbers are a bit skewed)...well, I'll throw in a pic.

Buy $250 in Canadian Tire gift cards and get a bonus $25 CT gc. (Cashier to use PLU 21461 for the bonus $25 CT gc. <---may be diff PLU in diff provinces).

Limit $500 per customer.

(Yes, I have the rest of the flyer, but I usually post to another forum (Canucks)...it'll be up < noon, probably)

Finally. But the discount is actually 9% instead of 10% off directly.

FINALLY!!! I've been waiting for this (sadly, not the straight 10% off, but I will take it). Will see if my father and friend want to go in together on this deal

And then if you use the GC for Gas (Which you should still be able to do unless they've changed it since the last GC promo), you can use Survey ($0.02/L) and Triangle (Min. $0.03/L, and potentially up to $0.05/L. Some stations I've noticed now have "Tankfull Tuesday" where you get $0.05/L using just the rewards card with another form of payment, or $0.07/L with the Triangle MC, just not exactly sure if it can be combined with the Survey coupon [I.E. if the $0.05/L is automatic, or a coupon must be scanned for it])

Yes can use CT GC for gas. But if you use GC to pay, you're not using Triangle MC to pay. You can get Triangle reward point, which is still good.

I use CT GC to buy parts/oil/filter to repair/maintain my cars. Since I got the PC WE MC, I buy gas at RCSS Mobil station with 8 cents per L off in PCO points for grocery.

Huh? In the past, pay $90 to get $100 means 11% (100/90).

Now pay $250 to get $275 means 10% (275/250). So this time is 10%.

you can get cb on giftcard when you purchase + use 2 cents off coupon. Rarely worth it to actually use triangle WE card.

you're talking about bonus rate while I'm focusing on discount percentage.

Do you guys know if the $250 will be on their variable-value gift card, or will we have to get 2x $100 + 1x $50?
I'll be getting $500, so hopefully it can be all on the variable value card..
