[Shoppers Drug Mart] Buy $300 Canadian Tire Gift Card Get $25 Bonus Card

On The bottom of page 10 (valid from October 12 to 18)

Worked out to be 7.7% off... Not as hot as previous 10% off, but still an OK deal worth sharing.

dont forget to use a credit card that gives you extra cash back or whatever rewards points for pharmacy purchases, mine's 2% cash back at the pharmacy.

You also get Canadian Tire money when you buy gas. I got around $20 when I bought $600 last time.

I plan to use PC Financial WE MasterCard that gives 4.5% back in PC points for purchases at Shoppers Drug Mart.

Awesome! I know you don't get PC points on gift card purchases by scanning your PC Optimum card
However this PC Financial blog says it is only 3% with PCF WE https://www.pcfinancial.ca/en/blog/3-re ... mastercard

Update: So non-gift card purchases is 4.5% (1.5% through PC Optimum + 3% through PCF WE Mastercard). Since no PCO points on gift card purchases, you don't get that 1.5%, just the 3% through PCF WE Mastercard

yeah most CCs cant/dont distinguish the items purchased, like my old visa was 4% on gas and grocery and they considered walmart to be grocery so i got that on everything there even if i bought other stuff.
