I have this, because it offered a USB port that I can power cameras. Though the USB port isn’t controllable each plug is individually. They work alright but I do have disconnects where it reconnects after a few seconds or a minute. The biggest downside is they are not home assistant compatible, though there are workarounds such as assistant relay to control indirectly through google.

I have a bunch of these as they work great - they're rock solid compared to any other outdoor device I've tried. I use them in multiple locations and have no issues at all (unlike Wemo for example, which craps out constantly).

They're also fully compatible with Alexa and Google, plus IFTTT which is really nice.

Are they compatible with Google or not? Would like to have them use voice command but if they can't do that, I'll pass...

Yes they are - it's right on the front of the box in the image OP posted (top right of the front of the box is the Google image). I don't use Google myself (I use Alexa) but they work great and the packaging confirms compatability with both.

Yes, it's totally OOS online for me. Neutral Face Good deal for an outdoor smart plug from a decent brand though.
Why settle for full retail price when you can wait and get it at a lower price for better value (even better if there's a bundled freebies deal)? 😉

Had a bad experience with this smart plug. Had one that stopped working after a few minutes of testing. It stopped connecting to Wi-Fi. Tried factory reset and everything else. Hopefully SDM has a good return policy because DLink customer service assumes you're an idiot and puts you through repetitive trouble shooting until you just give up

I am using it with my outdoor Christmas lights, no problem so far in snowing condition.

I use this for outdoor Halloween and Christmas decorations. I haven't encountered any issues since buying it 2 years ago. Zero issues with being able to connect to wifi.
