Nice. Been eyeing a $228 smart watch. Used 60,000 points, earned 52,250 points; net cost (with tax), $180 and about 7,500 points.

Bought the Kobo Libra 2 which is already on sale ($20 off) so this really is a great deal.

I did the same thing with the sleep cover while redeeming 90k points. It worked out to being a better deal than the upcoming bonus redemption and almost as good as bonus redemption+20x the points. Makes more sense than hoping it's in stock next week, or running around at physical locations.
I will tell my grandchildren about the deal I got on an HP Touchpad at the Bank street staples thanks to rfding.

Yeah I got that a week or two ago though my error had to do with something about point redemption + payment together. It still put a charge on my temp card but nothing went through formally.

Honestly sometimes the hassle is not worth it when a basic web checkout doesn’t work in 2021. I just went to another store to buy from.

Anyone in Vancouver area know a good Shoppers with more electronics? The shoppers I've been to have been all really sparse on electronics.

You are probably aware, but Shoppers does offer free shipping. It's not nearly as convenient as picking it up immediately in the store; but for us who have slim pickings (in store) this worked out well.

You are probably aware that Shoppers has 20x points offers in the app that are for in store only. If you want to buy a large ticket item, this gives a lot more points vs the online offers (current is 50k points for $150 spend).

Yes it’s a tv watching game changer when you haven’t upgraded to a smart TV & that AirPods connectivity! (and for those who missed out on the mid December PC financial 60k + 3,435 + 5k wus $200)
