Yup, my family has been getting the 20k points when you spend $75, $90, etc.
So no basically the offers shoppers and nofrills send are so crap reason being, I spend too much at nofrills so they give me spend 175 get 15$ back in points shoppers never maybe once every couple of months if even gets me 75 spend ones and these goofy ones like shop 3 times and get x amount points(which is what I’ve currently been having) new offer is spend 60$ for free burgers(crapyAngel Girl wrote: ↑ Yup, my family has been getting the 20k points when you spend $75, $90, etc.
PC Optimum has also been throwing in the "free box of cereal when you spend $40" for me specifically.
I'm not sure if they are targeting people who are spending lots or not spending at all. My parents actually never shop at SDM and their offers are just as crappy as mine. At least I occasionally buy perfume and cosmetics. I used to think that PC Optimum gave worse offers to those in BC vs in ON but it seems to not be the case. Someone pointed out in a thread that you’re more likely to get targeted offers from PCO if you use them. So might be best to make a token redemption (10K points) so that you can get the offer in the future when something you want pops up.
Have you used your surprise points and your points days offers? If you haven’t, check out my post where I got 45K+ points (even with the lower 20k surprise amount) and $10 from Checkout51 for $63 after tax spend. I think two other benefits of this offer (if you get it) over the Black Friday deal is that you can redeem as little as 10K points to get the best redemption rate whereas for the BF one, you have to redeem 250K to get the max rate and the YMMV works to your advantage, because you’re not competing with as many people for stock.modough wrote: ↑ This is definitely the best offer for spending your points.
However I personally don’t consider this the holy grail as it’s YMMV and who knows when someone receives it. The holy grail imo is 250k points redeeming $400 as it is publicly available and happens around Black Friday for sure, and possibly some other days that I don’t remember.
I wouldn’t recommend someone waiting for this elusive offer while the 250k one is active, and just use that instead.

Yes I know, redeeming is not spending. Fine print said no these offers wouldn’t stack but they are stacking.
