Depend on your preference of taste, but I find it less rich in flavour than Kraft's and Adams.

I actually love the NN peanut butter and prefer it to Kraft's. So yeah it's a matter of personal preference. Worth trying for $2.49 imo

Comparing Kraft Smooth with No Name Smooth:

- Kraft is less viscous and easier to spread while No Name is thicker and has a tendency to clump together
- Kraft has a slightly stronger peanut flavour
- No Name is sweeter than Kraft
- No Name has a noticeable oil sheen where Kraft is more dull

For me, Kraft's is more enjoyable off of the spoon but No Name is better on toast.

never buy at shoppers. They are always overpriced ;)

The peanut butter is in their flyer. Crackers are 1.77 if you buy 3, powerade 9.99 for 24 ,milk, eggs, coffee. Lots of stuff for cheap. Get to $50 and get back 30% in points.

If you can reach the $50 and bought $5.00 worth of peanut butter you would get $1.50 worth of points for the peanut butter alone.

I have never read such a comprehensive PB comparison. Upvote for you.

IMO, the all natural one (100% peanuts, 750g, not organic) is good. Just let it separate and skim some of the oil on top (save it for cooking or preparing chili oil later on) and mix thoroughly the rest so the bottom won't get hard and dry.

And if you buy the PCOrganics, and have PC Insiders you will get 20 x pc points on those items.

or store it lid side down and the bottom won't get dry.

I think last time they had the blue menu 750g for $2 at no frills with YMMV 100 pt per dollar app promotion. That was maybe a year and a half ago? Good times.

Anyone tried the PC Organics? I know other organic brands have a richer peanut taste than non-organic

I got tired of the games Shoppers and Loblaws keep playing with PB pricing so I've started making my own. I'd already started only buying 100% nuts PB anyway (since it's vastly superior to the stuff with all the additives). Get a blender with a strong motor and you can make better PB than any stuff you're buying. If you want to add salt or whatever else, not a problem.

yup, those diabolical PB pricing games, they're destroying lives! Then there's the diaper pricing plot. Don't you long for the days of BiWay?

There was a peanut shortage years ago forcing prices up, when things recovered the prices stayed high.

Interesting, what's the cost breakdown for making your own? I'm interested because I have a blendtec, but don't have the nut butter making jar. I like the pc blue menu one with 100% roasted peanut, the one with the layer of oil on top.. Figured that's the best one to go with, for the no mess no fuss approach, compared to making my own.
