Yes, most likely. As I posted in the OP:MontrealPost wrote: ↑(...) Possibility of going back to $6.99??? I still have 2-3 months' supply of coffee but will stock up
"It has been on sale at $6.99 every two weeks since at least June 22nd, 2019 with only a few exceptions. (...) Since it goes on sale every 2 weeks like clockwork, for freshness, don't buy more than you can use in two weeks. Once opened, split the coffee into freezer bags and keep it in the freezer. Check the Best Before Date under the can. Currently, you can find May 2022 dates if you snoop a little."

Inflation. Gas. Transport. Commercial rents. Wages. Insurance. Taxes. Maintenance. Electricity.
Can you name anything that went down in price lately?
Edited for spelling.

You raise a good point. I've noticed milk and eggs have gone up, but occasionally, all supermarkets have sales at once. It's like there is a glut that forms in waves of perishable foodstuffs.
For ground coffee that has a 6+ month shelf life, I'm betting they will lower it back to 6.99 when their inventory shows a glut.
Restaurants and coffee shops are still not operating at capacity, so there's that.
I'm not denying inflation, however, I'm still not buying PC coffee at 7.99! Resist!
