[Shoppers Drug Mart] [Pharmaprix] President's Choice Gourmet Ground Coffee 875-930g (~2lbs) $12.99

The next sale at SDM will be from Saturday, March 23rd to Friday, March 29th: $12.99.

It goes on sale every two weeks. If you want to be reminded, just subscribe to this thread. I will bump-up the thread at least twice a month.

West Coast Dark Roast is my favorite.
I use a little more than the maximum indicated dosage in a stove top Moka coffee maker.
That's about 30 ml of coffee for each 125 ml cup of fresh cold water.
I have tested many coffees over the years, grounded and brewed in many ways and I own two coffee grinders.
Yet I come back to this PC Gourmet Ground coffee.

Since it goes on sale every 2 weeks like clockwork, for freshness, don't buy more than you can use in two weeks.
Once opened, split the coffee into freezer bags and keep it in the freezer.
Check the Best Before Date under the can.
Currently, you can find February2025 dates if you snoop a little.

This coffee made me save a lot: I used to buy specialty coffee from a roaster at $35 per kilo! Astonished Face

These deals are particularly good if you have the frequent $1.20/$6 PCO offer. Buy 6 cans for $8.40 off, or $5.60@. That also puts you at $41.94 if you have a WYS $50 or $60 offer.

What is the regular points for $6.99 coffee? I just want to figure out if it is better to buy $60 worth of coffee for 20x the points ending today or 10,000 points (or $10) for $50 purchase tomorrow.

TIA
Currently happy customer with Koodo, Roger and Virgin Mobile.

This is a great way to keep a historical record of the sales for PC coffee. Thanks OP!

It's too bad I don't get the individual offer for PC points anymore.

Any one happen to know which of the coffee suppliers/companies makes this store brand?

You get 15 points per dollar spent at SDM for pretty much anything there. 20x works out to be 30% in points back. 10k points for $50 = 20% back. 30% back is better than 20%

I always wait for this deal and buy 6-8 tins plus cat food to snag a PC points offer over 40, 50.. whatever's on that day. Great everyday coffee. Can't beat the price.

Looks like West Coast Dark Roast is many people's favorite. Other flavors readily available but only managed to buy 1 can from 3 different Shoppers locations :(

Thanks, OP, hopefully it's good.

This is a good price for good Arabic bean coffee, but this is not particularly good coffee.

Thanks @Temporal
Subscribed, this will keep me from having to look at the flyer. It is our house coffee & stock up when on sale.

BTW - my local store occasionally has K-cups on their clearance rack. Picked up a Starbucharest 10 pk of French Roast today for $4.
I suggest if you are buying coffee, scan their clearance rack.

I did the 20x points a couple months ago and stocked up. When you did that I think this coffee is a fantastic deal. The coffee might not be super high quality but I have drank if for years and find I like it.

I lost my 1200pts for every 6$ for this coffee. Even still I think it's the best coffee by far in its class and price. If you choose to consider points as dollars the effective price is about 5$. I cant find anything that comes close.

These go on sale every 3 weeks for 6.99 or 7.99 in my area. I use it to top up the min spend for 20x. We are earning 18-20k points almost every week.

Great coffee.

Bought some gold label, pretty great for $7 even as someone who is very picky with their coffee and wont even touch most pre-ground coffees

The sale is back on from Saturday, September 14th to Friday, September 20th.

I got this coupon at my local Pharmaprix (Shopper's) for 10,000 PCO points when you spend $40 before taxes from Monday, September 16 to Friday, September 20th.
I don't know if it's valid nationwide.
You can probably print it and scan at the store or ask the cashier to enter the code manually.
Maybe even show on your smart phone?

The only thing I have ever bought on sale is the coffee and only once but the time I did I bought 6 cans and I had no problem doing so.
