[Shoppers Drug Mart] Pres Choice 2lb tin ground coffee $6.99 (sale begins Saturday)

The new Shoppers flyer is out and it has my favorite coffee (dark roast) on sale (again) for $6.99.

Just in time too, I have almost run out of my last stock pile!

Upd: sale starts Saturday. Upd #2: chg'd the pic

"2 lbs"... this is the 900g tin. (The pic is just whatever I found via google)

Good deal! My preferred coffee too. Also check your Optimum app as mine shows "1,200 for every $6 spent on PC roast or ground coffee" ending in 6 days

I stand corrected, and yeah that's the best price for this especially if combined with PC points personal offer

Must have been location specific? 2 weeks ago the same sale was on and I tried to price match at superstore for 1 tin and got denied, it was listed at 10 something... hopefully shoppers will have gotten more stock this time they were oos last time I went

As the picture shows, the dark roast has been downsized to 875 grams, about one ounce less than 2 pounds. Still a great deal....

I tried the dark roast, tasted awful. Won't get those again.

Metro has the Eight O'clock coffee beans, 900g for $6.99 this week. I'll be getting a bag of Columbia, and a bag of Bokar flavour. Will buy in conjunction with the MegaMiles bonus, and this week's redeem 95 air miles get 50 bonus AM back, which makes for getting total of 100 AM back for each 95 AM redemption.

This used to be great coffee (yellow label) before they changed the labels. Tried it once since and it sucked, hard.

This is a trifecta deal for me. I ended up purchasing 13 canisters.

sale 6.99 (usually cheapest it gets at any PC brand store) + 20x points event + 5000 bonus PC MC points + 1200 pts on every $6 spend on PC coffee (personal offer) + 3% PC MC cash back

I did a killing on this today. I like to have Decaf stocked at home for the evening for guests, etc. PC and No Name are the only two that still have the full size canisters for Decaf. Maxwell, Tim Hortons, Walmart-brand, all are the 2/3rd size canisters for Decaf. So an extra bonus if you use Decaf from time-to-time, if you can find them.
