[Shoppers Drug Mart] Quest Bars - $35.99 + YMMV bonus points

Shoppers has Quest bars - $35.99 for a box of 12. Not a screaming hot deal on its own, but good if you can get points too.

E.g. 2 boxes helped me get over the $75 mark yesterday, for 18,500 points. Then today, another box toward my $50 min for 15,000 points.

Does the 20%off discount also work on sale items?

the third flavour in supplement source's deal is expired. The third choice is Birthday cake and it expired Jan 26

Normally I don't care about expiry dates on supplements, I've bought expired protein powder many times.

That said, quest bars go stale. I've bought some expired ones from ss.ca and they were definitely stale. I wouldn't recommend expired quest bars.

Strange - isn't it illegal to sell expired food?

Edit: unless they can argue they're giving away the third box for free? (which they are)

Can anyone confirm? Is this because of a PC points offer?
