$229.99
-$40
-$11.33 (Receive 11,335 points with purchase)
= $178.66

If you add another $70.01 to your cart, you can redeem 200,000 points and get a bonus $100 off instead of just $40.

==================
The Source (Expired): Use code save25 to save $25 on orders over $150 (redeemable Aug 12-15)

Other stores are selling it for $229.99, so this one is $25 cheaper with the code. Total comes to $204.99 before tax.

Just a heads up. If you order online from shoppers you get 10k + 40k both bonus points available to everyone on their site. That worth about $50. Today is the last day for 40k points on $125 spend online. Theres already a thread for this

Let us not exaggerate. 40K bonus points is a personalized offer, two of my PC accounts did not get it.

Good find. From Costco it comes with a 64 GB microSD included for $229. The other stores don't seem to have that.

How is the SD662 performance compared to the older S3 or S4 tab?

Even though S3 has a flagship CPU (SD820), SD662 is shows slighter better score on AnTuTu score 178K vs 171k for being much more recent.

S3 has AMOLED screen and 3:2 aspect ratio close to Ipad (if you prefer), but Tab A7 has security update and usb type-c with different aspect ratio.

It's not a personal offer. It is available to everyone buying online.

Thanks OP! Nice catch! This is a hot deal at this price for this tablet, which seems decent with 3 GB of RAM.

Keep in mind that this is an A-series tablet, the lowest of the lows in terms of Samsung's classing of products. Thus, OS upgrades will be slow, however they seem to be decent at system and security updates. I have the 8-inch 2019 version with just 2 GB of RAM and just received the Android 11 update about 1.5 to 2 months ago (can't quite remember, but it was recent). The tablet still performs I'd say good overall, but I've noticed it starting to stutter and hesitate a bit more often after the upgrade. It did bring a bunch of new features and enhancements to the tablet like double-tap to lock and wake.

This is a very good consumption tablet if you can get it at this price for such a big screen. If you use your tablet for any kind of serious work or mission critical tasks, I would suggest going with something more beefier like their S-series or an iPad. This will still work with what you want to do work-wise, but won't last a beating or able to keep up with its consumer level SoC and "paltry" amount of RAM.

Back to school season is upon us and there could be some very tempting deals in the next few weeks. Smiling Face With Sunglasses

This deal is definitely NSFW (Not Safe for Wallet)! Disappointed But Relieved FaceFace With Tears Of Joy

Why settle for full retail price when you can wait and get it at a lower price for better value (even better if there's a bundled freebies deal)? 😉

I think you mean Android 11. Android 12 is still in beta.

For those that have points at shopper’s, I bought mine there. There’s currently a 200k points for 300$ Promo + 10k points back for buying this tablet. Though you’ll have to add something to your order to hit 300$.

Which is useless as you can't save apps to an SD card with this

Not useless. You can still save photos, videos, music, downloads etc. to microSD card, and apps can still save data there if they have that capability (like maps for gps nav).

Any thoughts about the Galaxy Tab S6 lite vs the A7?
I know the S6 lite is not good of a sale, but it comes in 64 gigs with 4 gigs of Ram, an S pen and longer support.
The order total is $289.39 if redeeming 100000 points.

S6 lite is good for the pen and slightly sleeker package, speed and screen wise they’re comparable. Speakers they trade blows with S6 lite having 2 slightly better but A7 having 4 that go louder.
