Why exactly wouldn't this matter? Smr are pretty shitty for doing pretty much anything besides just storing large files.

I was just gonna say lol... Why would it matter if it's shucked or not what kind of drive?? If it's a crap drive it's crap in or out of the box

I shucked 2 when Memory Express had them on for $99 back in Black Friday 2019. Both hard drives were ST6000DM003.

Well, most people just use hard drive for storaging large files, including me.....
