It’s worth it if your spending only 150. If your spending close to 170 might as-well wait for 20X the points

Yes, you are right. Just good time while some good games are on sales, and while non-essential is not available during lock down.

I combined with redemption event for the Dyson supersonic hairdryer, used 240000 points + paid $224.99 tax included, with 50k points back, so net only used 190000points.

Regular price $499.99 + 13% = $564.99 tax included
All promo combined: $414.99 tax included (190k points + $224.99), which is kind of like $367.25 before tax.

I don't have that offer on my app. I can get 20K points back for spending $60 but not on an item where you use the points to purchase it. They got you coming and going. Was after the Garmin Venu SQ watch but it's not registering the sale price at the till and would require a manager override. Sunday, so no managers...

During the redemption event till May 12, 200,000 points can be redeemed for $300 (extra $100 value), 100,000 points for $140 and 50,000 for $65.
When you spend online $150 or more, you get bonus 50,000 points.
The Dyson hairdryer price is $499.99 before tax. So you can redeem up to 240,000 points for $340 discount and and still get $50,000 points bonus.

Let's say you have 250,000 points. Compare two scenarios:
1. You redeem 240,000 points for hairdryer and earn 50,000 points. Now you have 60,000 points and can redeem 50,000 for $65 ($15 extra) plus 10,000 for $10.
So the total redemption value of your 250,000 points will be $340+$65+$10=$415
2. You redeem 200,000 points for hairdryer and earn 50,000 points. Now you have 100,000 points and can redeem 100,000 for $140 ($40 extra).
In this case the total redemption value of your 250,000 points will be $300+$140=$440

am I the only one who doesn't see the $50k online offer? I added $470 worth to my bag but nothing pops up in checkout. I tried an incognito window but no luck still

It does happen. I grabbed a PS5 in store during last month’s redemption event. I had a 20k points offer at the time too. So not terrible.
