[Shoppers Drug Mart] Surprise Points [Roll the Dice] Event Is Back! 20K or 30K PC Optimum Points for $60+ Spend (Jan. 27 to 29)

Similar to the August 2022 offer there’s a 1 in 6 chance for 30K, so only 1 side of the dice will have the desired outcome. Single use.

Also, note that even though this offer begins on Jan. 27, the flyer deals actually start on the 28th.

Too bad 60k isn’t included. I managed to get that during one of the promos last year. Odds were like 1 in 50

In before everyone asks. There is no way to know whether you get 20k or 30k. Only know after you pay. So the best way to consider this promo is as a 21.666k point promo (so only slightly better than a usual 20k offer). Because odds say you'll get the extra 10k only once every 6 times.

Points day product specific offers are in the 30% to 50% points back range. If you can manage to get $60 worth of points day featured items at SDM, you’re looking at 63% to 100% back in points + whatever you can get for product specific personalized offers.

So you will at least get 20,000 pts for $60 spent?

Are purchases of Apple Gift Cards over $60 eligible for this offer? Is it stackable with the 15,000 points for every $100 gift card purchase offer?

You can't get points on buying gift cards unless it is a gift card specific offer.

Today is Wednesday, which means the current weeks’ personalized product offers will expire if you don’t save them. Check your PCO app for offers you didn’t use this week, the flyers of Loblaws banner/ SDM stores, “save for next week” the offers that you can stack with discounts and Points Days offers.

Offer showed up in app. Looks like it’s one offer per account for this event. OP updated with offer terms.

Fine print has this line: Can’t be used with any other points promotions or offers.

So ???

Do things purchased on "Points Day" promos with bonus points qualify towards the $60 or not.

How about the targeted points offers?

Fine print always makes my head muscle hurt. Not Slurpee kind of hurt but still, it hurts.

From my experience on previous Points Days, I've had no problem getting the 20000-30000 points for the total spent and also collecting the targeted and individual item points. I'll be going for the same this weekend

Maybe it’s worth to mention that this offer is limit one per account

Not sure how it was written in the T&C last year, but don't the points days offers (not regular weekly offers) specify that they "can not be combined with total stores offers including the 20x offers"? I mean this is not a 20x offer, but will it still apply?

In the Superstore flyer the front page says "PC Optimum Members can earn up to 500,000 points in this flyer" and that would only be possible by using all possible Points Day deals. I think the T&C wording is more related to other attempts to stack or attribute the specific conditions of one offer onto another offer.
