It's alright. This is the older model without the optional Bluetooth connectivity
The new bulbs have Zigbee + Bluetooth, so you can use it without a hub. These are just Zigbee, but since they include the hub it’s a nonissue. Zigbee is better than Bluetooth since it has better reliability, range, and each bulb acts as a repeater.
