The terms of this promo are almost identical to the terms of the 135 points per $1 promo last year, where everyone bought thousands of dollars worth of gift cards.
The word "eligible" was also used.
Fair enough. But point still stands, won't know until 4-6 weeks from now so do it if you believe it, and don't do it if you don't.

No one can definitively tell you for sure. Because this isn't instant points.

Does anyone know if this will stack with
the 20x offer this weekend
and if you have a 10k per $50 spent total store offer?
If it does this will be lavahot !

On a 20x day like this Saturday, that's like 60% off something that costs $50.

The fine print literally says, "eligible products". Are gift cards a default eligible product in the Optimum program?

If you think it's yes, go buy gift cards.

If you think it's no, don't go buy gift cards.

Doesn't mention eligible regarding the deal. The eligible part is for the regular 45pts/dollar for the WE MC

"Almost anything in-store. Certain restrictions apply. This offer cannot be combined with department or total store offers. "
Well that answers my question

Both the * and 1 paragraphs mention "eligible". One is regarding 45 points, the other is regarding the offer.

This is a PC Financial offer (rather than SDM offer), the 15000 bonus points WILL be earned for Gift Card purchases.
Standard SDM offer points will not be earned

Hmm, good point.

So you could purchase a $50 SDM gift card, get the 15000 points, then spend the gift card to get 20x points today?

Only PC WE MC holders are getting this promo, right? Too bad I hold the regular card.

Sounds like your PC mastercard isn't linked to your PC Optimum card - you can do it yourself by going into your PC Optimum account, clicking on "Account" and then "Cards"

Uhh you do know PCMC can see who they sent the promos to right? They're not going to give you points unless you get a truly stupid CSR

Correct. Although I can attest to getting points indiscriminately for all sorts of reasons.
I have been given points twice from a points inquiry for no apparent reason.
I have been given more points than were owed too.

I also am not getting all emails I am supposed to including account change emails. Not sure why that is...

Some CSR's just allocate and move on..

I also had multiple stacks for my purchase of $75 before taxes (I know I should have only got to $50 for best value but there were a lot of things on sale I needed!).

Got 44205 pc points, and expect to get 15000 pc points for using my PC mastercard, + 45 PC points for every dollar spent at SDM 3375 = 62580 pc points on $75 purchase before taxes.

20x the points When you spend $50 or more in-store. 20240
12,000 pts when you spend $30 on Suncare 12,000
1200 points for every $6 in Aveeno products 4800 (I bought Aveeno suncreen so that was a triple stack!)
600 points Almond Breeze beverages 1200
digital 20k Milk 855
In store offers 4,000
regular points 1110
