ok, started C at 46.05, 1/3 size for now.

edit: NKLA at important juncture - either is runs from 33 level, or new lows in store. Bulls need to push above 34
covered 50 calls for 1.5 (two bagger)

edit: glanced at the vix in Oct and Nov. Seems traders expect a lot of volatility in the first weeks of Oct and somewhat muted in Nov. I would expect Nov to have higher vol, but no... so that means election risk is overrated.

edit: long ES 3402 - hard time clearing 3406, out 3405
It's easy to grin when your ship comes in and you've got the stock market beat.

Today's "Apple Event." Sandra Bullock is Apple and the NA equity markets are the bus. Maybe it makes it today, but we know what happens at the airport. Still small long AAPL, because TINA.

I started tracking this on Aug 14 because there was concern about a protracted resolution to the US election into Jan'21. I think we had a few posts on that here before. There was a few days in Sept where the mkt had the Oct'20 future much higher than the Aug EOM mark. That has since come off. Marks are at settlement for consistency.

Oil Action: WTI crude Oil Action: WTI crude rallied more than 2%, peaking at seven-session highs of $39.41 in London morning trade, and up from $38.26 lows seen after Tuesday's close. Shut in oil production in the Gulf of Mexico due to hurricane Sally, along with the API report of a 9.5 M bbl weekly drop in oil inventory (expected up 1.5 M bbl) pushed prices higher. Dollar weakness this morning has supported as well. Traders will look to the 10:30 ET EIA inventory report for corroboration
