Short trips from Mississauga

Looking to get in some short trips to some scenic, picnicky, fun locations during the weekdays not too far, 1 - 2 hour drive only. Will be travelling 2 toddlers and an 8yr old. Any suggestions?

Elmira / St Jacobs area

Cheltenham Badlands

Hamilton is known for waterfalls

Niagara on the Lake/Niagara falls.

We're all bozos on the bus until we find a way to express ourselves...

Failure is always an option...just not the preferred one!

Stratford is a lovely town to visit. You can have a picnic in the park by the river.

Elora and Fergus can be done in the same day.

Paris and Cambridge are also lovely.

For picnic and great sights, highly recommend Spencer Gorge falls area.

Other options:
Scarborough bluffs
Mono cliffs for hiking
Kincardine
Grand bend

Also during the week, ( Monday to Thursday ) Ontario parks are Free.
